How can i talk to my tutor?
At Constructive Tutor, your safety and privacy are our top priorities. That’s why we offer anonymous sessions for complete peace of mind. To keep things secure, we don’t have a built-in messaging system for direct chats between tutors, students and clients—this helps protect your privacy every step of the way.communication mainly happens in two ways:
- Admins can send one-time emails to tutors, students, and clients through the Communications tab on user profiles.
- Admins can also set up Intercom chat, but this only lets users chat with admins—not directly with each other.
How can i upload or share documents with my tutor?
You can easily upload documents to the Jobs or Lessons you and your tutor are both assigned to:
- Go to the specific Job or Lesson.
- Find the Documents panel.
- Click Upload.
- Drag your file in or click to choose it from your computer.
Or, if you prefer, you can upload documents directly:
- Head to Activity > Documents.
- Click Single Document Upload.
- Upload your file.
- Make sure to set the access permissions so your tutor can see it.
Any documents uploaded to a Job will automatically be available to everyone assigned to that Job. These are great for sharing worksheets, teaching materials, or homework assignments.
Are there additional tools or interfaces available aside from the share screen?
Besides screen sharing, Constructive Tutor offers a bunch of great tools to help you collaborate:
- Online Classrrom Video – our built-in online classroom that includes a chat feature so you can text during your sessions.
- Document sharing – easily upload documents to Jobs or Lessons that both you and your tutor can access anytime.
Is it possible to change my avatars appearance?
- To update your profile picture, just click your profile icon in the top right corner of your Dashboard and select Account.
- From there, you can easily change your profile picture—it’ll be your avatar across the whole system!
Is there a way to see or print what was covered in my session?
When a lesson is marked complete, your tutor will fill out a Lesson Report to share what you covered.
To see these reports:
- Head to the specific Lesson page.
- Click on the Expenses & Reports tab.
- You’ll find all your completed reports there.
If you want a printed copy:
- Administrators can download all your Lesson Reports as a PDF by going to Activity > Reports.
- They can filter by your name and date range before downloading.re.
Also, if your session was recorded using Constructive Tutor Video, you can find the recordings in the Activity tab on your Lesson page.
Is there a way to speak with my tutor instead of typing?
For audio or voice communication with your tutor, you can:

Is there a way to explore the classroom setup without starting a session?

- Clicking the link to open Constructive Tutor Video (our online classroom) and get familiar with how it works.
- You can also find the classroom link in your lesson reminder emails for easy access.
Who does a student ot tutor talk to if they need help?
If you ever need a hand, just reach out to your administrator—the team managing your Constructive Tutor account. They can quickly send you emails through the Communications tab on your profile.

After signing up, you’ll land on your Tutor Dashboard. Here’s where you’ll apply to become a tutor by filling out your profile — the more details you provide, the faster we can review your application!
📚 Add Your Qualifications
• Share the subjects you majored in
• Select the highest level of education you’ve completed
• You can skip the institution and grade fields
• Enter the year you completed your education, then click Submit
👩🏫 Add Your Teaching Skills
• List the subjects you’re confident teaching
• Choose the student levels (e.g. elementary, high school, college) that fit your expertise
• Click Submit once you’re done
📄 Upload Your Documents
• Upload your most updated CV, then click OK to finish this step
🧩 Step 5: Complete Your Profile
Click on “Actions” and choose “Edit Profile.”
Take a few minutes to fill in all the required details — this helps us get to know you better and ensures we can review your application quickly after you hit Submit.
